The Canadian cryptocurrency exchange QuadrigaCX, which already owes its customers approximately C$250 million (~$190 million), accidently transferred almost C$500,000 (~$379,000) to its cold storage wallet by mistake last week.

Advisory firm Edelman Financial Engines’ founder Ric Edelman said in an interview with CNBC that BTC ETFs (Bitcoin exchange traded funds) would eventually be available. In his interview, he said that such ETFs were a virtual certainty, and that it was only a question of when they would be launched.

There are at least two remittance companies that have reportedly gone live with blockchain-based payments. The firms in question are UAE Exchange and Unimoni, both of which are using the technology from Ripple.
