Bitrefill, a digital currency gift provider, has recently added a new service that lets users book Airbnb rentals with at least five cryptos. Here is everything about it in a nutshell.

Paying Rentals With Cryptos

According to the official report, the firm revealed the inclusion of the service via its official Twitter page, suggesting that its customers are now capable of paying for Airbnb gift cards in cryptos. The digital currencies in question are Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ether (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Dash (DASH). This is without a doubt huge progress in the crypto space, especially in the property rental sector and individuals looking to utilize their cryptos.

It is worth noting, however, that the Sweden-based company’s gift cards can only be obtained and utilized by users located in the U.S. and those that have a U.S.-based payment method. This is further confirmed by the company through its official website. Moreover, these gift cards are only designed to be applied for reservations and should be less than 28 nights.

Basically, in order for users to be able to successfully utilize Bitrefill’s Airbnb gift cards, they must book rentals with a mindset of doing so within a span of 28 nights. In addition, users are given the ability to purchase these cards using U.S. dollar denominations of around $25, $50, and $100.

Other Services Using Cryptos

It should be noted as well that Bitrefill is known for providing mobile credit top-ups, all of which are offered in digital currencies. Even more so, the company revealed that it is currently offering a voucher product and that it will give customers a voucher code. From there, instructions will be provided to them directly by the company, so they will know how exactly to use it to their advantage.

Just last week, the digital currency girt provider revealed an interesting service. By essence, it is a crypto support specifically designed for all Netflix subscriptions. And like the aforementioned, its users may utilize all the five cryptocurrencies. The company also offers cards meant for VOIP, travel services, and gaming, among many others, although it would largely depend on the global location.

Bitrefill is also known for being an early adopter of the lighting network, which is still somewhat an experimental project. Back in January, the firm said that it would aim at making lightning Bitcoin payments much easier for users via its so-called “Thor” service. The latter, in particular, gives people the ability to providing lightning channels to anyone without the worry of any setup on the receiver’s side.
