Bitcoin SV (BSV) has been the topic of criticism recently. The crypto, which managed to emerge during the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) hard fork back in November last year, is known for embracing the infamous moniker “Satoshi’s Vision.” The altcoin is being backed by an Australian entrepreneur named Craig Wright, who claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto.

Wright Vs. His Critics

According to the official report, Wright and his team have started serving court documents to all of his critics. Even more so, the chief scientist and startup nChain owner demanded public apologies from his bashers.

It is worth noting that Bitcoin SV has been delisted by a number of cryptocurrency exchanges. Binance, for instance, recently distanced itself from the digital currency and even mocked Wright for his so-called absurd claims. The company was subsequently followed by the likes of Kraken and ShapeShift, both of which also delisted the said altcoin.

The delisting marathon has been in the crypto space for a while. It was preceded by Wright’s encounter with Hodlonaut, an anonymous personality on Twitter. Interestingly, this user is the one responsible for organizing the popular Lightning Torch campaign. Basically, Hodlonaut targeted Wright with a number of offensive tweets, describing him as a “sad and pathetic scammer.” He even went to suggest that the Australian businessman is “clearly mentally ill.”

Although nothing certain has been reported, it appears Hodlonaut is among the individuals who jumpstarted the #CraighWrightIsAFraud hashtag on social media sites. This backlash started when Wright claimed to be the famous Satoshi Nakamoto, the person believed to be the man behind the world’s leading crypto Bitcoin.

All Eyes On ‘Faketoshi’

Unfortunately for Wright, the majority of the people in the crypto space is not sold out. They think that his claims are complete nonsense. They even went to dub the Australian business magnate as “faketoshi.”

Apparently, there were reports in the past suggesting that Wright could be Satoshi. These were later on proven to be false, especially since there has been no substantial evidence suggesting that he is indeed the creator of BTC. These publications, however, continued to claim that Wright is Satoshi despite saying that the narrative came from an anonymous source.

There is also a bounty set to unravel the true identity of Hodlonaut and is reportedly around $5,000. Wright, on the other hand, demanded that the Twitter user apologize publicly and attend an open court hearing. Following the rise of the controversy, Hodlonaut subsequently deleted his Twitter account, which resulted in the #WeAreHodlonaut hashtag.
