An official representative revealed new features in the South Korean giant’s latest smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S10 at the Samsung Mobile World Congress that was held in Barcelona in Spain on February 25.

Crypto Partner Services on Galaxy S10

The company revealed that the new Galaxy S10 would come equipped with wallet functions for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Enjin’s token (ENJ) and COSMO token (COSM).

The COSMO token and the Enjin token are two of the first crypto partner services that will be available on the new smartphone. Cosmee is a DApp (decentralized application) that focuses on beauty community services.

The app has been developed by the Cosmochain project and it is a platform that connects the beauty industry to end customers. This project incentivizes its users by rewarding them with COSM coins when they create content on the platform about different products.

Cosmochain confirmed the partnership with Samsung in a separate announcement. On the new Samsung Galaxy S10, users will be able to earn as well as spend the Ethereum-based ERC-20 based COSM tokens on the Cosmee platform.

Enjin is a crypto-gaming platform that offers users options for game development, tokenized in-game products and is powered by the ERC-20 token called Enjin coin (ENJ).

By ensuring that the new phone supports both projects, their coins are also being supported.

While the exact details of the partner services are not known, it expected that they will be featured on the Galaxy S10 during or soon after its launch.

Enjin Token Surges on the News

One day after the announcement was made by Samsung that its new smartphone would be supporting COSM and ENJ tokens, the Enjin Coin’s price shot up by over 200%.

The price of the ENJ token went up from 0.00000958 BTC to 0.00002943 BTC. The crypto saw a 207% surge in its token price within a 24-hour period.

This price surge is directly attributed to the announcement that it was being listed as one of the 4 cryptos that Samsung’s Galaxy S10 would support. And while the ENJ token is just 58th on the top cryptos list and is overshadowed by other much larger Blockchain networks, Enjin is one of the world’s major protocols in the Blockchain-based gaming segment that allows game developers to efficiently deploy games using Blockchain.

However, unlike Cosmochain, Enjin has not yet confirmed its partnership with Samsung.
