Currency.com is a tokenized securities exchange based in Belarus. Apparently, the company has revealed its plans to launch to the public, a decision it did after a spell in beta mode since January this year. Here is everything about it in a nutshell.

The Platform Explained

According to the official report, the platform is said to be first ever of its kind in the world. By essence, it gives investors the ability to directly trade and invest in tokenized financial instruments. Unlike its contemporaries, it allows payments to be made directly in either Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH).

It is also worth noting that Currency.com has recently introduced an app specifically designed for both iOS and Android, giving users to access to its services on the go. As expected, the exchange included some noteworthy features during the launching, some of which are selling at loss and 50 percent margin closeouts.

According to the company’s very own CEO named Ivan Gowan, with the arrival of tokenized securities, the way investors utilize their digital currencies will be completely changed. By linking these cryptocurrencies to the price of shares and stocks, holders for BTC and/or ETH will have a tangible way of accessing traditional financial markets.

A Thousand Securities To Offer

Currency.com further claims that it has at least a thousand tokenized securities on offer, all of which are meant for investors across the globe (although those deemed to be blacklisted by both the U.S. and the Financial Action Task Force for being high-risk countries are excluded).

Capital.com, on the other hand, is responsible for providing the underlying technology needed for the platform. It is basically the sister firm of the company and is said to be regulated by the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority and Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.

Changelly - Exchange cryptocurrency at the best rate

The aforementioned tokenized securities exchange clarified that the big reveal regarding its products simply track the current market price all traditional financial instruments. The latter includes, but not limited to, indices, global equities, and commodities.

For instance, users will have the ability to purchase a token that completely mirrors the very performance of a certain share on the Nasdaq. And this can be done in the exact same costs and benefits of that particular share. Interestingly, the company has also managed to introduce a tokenized Belarus government bond, one that comes with the possibility of adding more corporate and government bonds in the foreseeable future.
