The founder and Chief Executive Officer Tron (TRX) Justin Sun, stated that he feels that the Tron network will soon officially collaborate this year with Ethereum. Sun made these comments during an interview with Rachel Wolfson, the host of The Crypto Chick podcast.

Collaboration with Ethereum

Sun, during his interview was asked about the recent tweets posted by the co-founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, about Tron. To this, Sun responded that competition would bring better products to the market.

Tron’s CEO stated that he felt that even within 2019, it would be possible to see a collaboration between Tron and Ethereum. He said that his company could work together with Ethereum developers as well as enterprises that had been earlier built on the Ethereum network to make the cryptocurrency and Blockchain industry better.

The Tron-USDT Partnership

During the course of the interview, Sun also spoke about the importance of stablecoins as well as the aim of launching the new USDT-Tron stablecoin that is scheduled April 9.

He stated that unlike other cryptos, stablecoins were not impacted by the fluctuations in the crypto market. Sun also said that most traders wanted to keep their investments away from the massive market fluctuations common in cryptocurrency markets. This, he felt is what made stablecoins so important.

With regard to the upcoming partnership with USDT, he said that this deal would make transactions faster, cheaper as well as more reliable. Tron’s founder explained that at this moment, USDT operated on the same Blockchain as Bitcoin’s. Because of this, transactions were not only expensive but also limited to just $300,000 a day.

With the new partnership, this issue would be resolved once the larger part of USDT-Omni was moved to the USDT-Tron network. Sun said that this migration would also be of benefit to the entire community – both the Blockchain as well as the Tron community – as it would reduce the poor experience most users had with the old stablecoin.

Other Movements in Tron

Sun also stated that in the second half of 2019, Tron was introducing a new network that would have a privacy option. This new network’s technology would be based on the kind that has been used by the Zcash (ZEC) network.

Two major cryptocurrency exchanges, the Malta-based OKEx and the Singapore-based Huobi Global, already announced that they would be supporting the new Tron-USDT stablecoin.
