KBW2026 Brings Global Finance, Policy and Crypto Leaders to Seoul

Seoul, South Korea, September 14th, 2026, Chainwire
Tom Lee, Arthur Hayes, Joseph Lubin and global policy and industry leaders join KBW2026 with Upbit
KBW (Korea Blockchain Week), Asia’s leading digital asset and blockchain conference, will return to Seoul from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, bringing together global leaders across crypto, finance, technology and public policy for KBW2026 with Upbit.
Headline speakers include Tom Lee, chairman of Bitmine; Arthur Hayes, chief investment officer at Maelstrom; Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum and founder and CEO of Consensys; Kyoungsuk Oh, CEO of Upbit (Dunamu); and Jeff Yan, CEO of Hyperliquid Labs.
They will be joined by Bo Hines, CEO of Tether USA₮; Harry Jung, former deputy director at the White House; Brian Quintenz, former commissioner of the CFTC and Monica Long, President of Ripple.
The lineup reflects the growing convergence of digital assets, global capital markets and public policy as governments and financial institutions increasingly engage with stablecoins, tokenization and blockchain-based financial infrastructure.
“KBW2026 will bring together the leaders defining how digital assets move into the next phase of institutional adoption,” said Andrew Park, CEO of FactBlock. “The conversation is increasingly being shaped not only by founders and investors, but by policymakers, financial institutions and governments engaging directly with stablecoins, tokenization and blockchain-based financial infrastructure. Seoul is a natural place for that dialogue, connecting global decision-makers with one of the world’s most active and sophisticated digital asset markets.”
South Korea has long been one of the world’s most active digital asset markets and is becoming an increasingly important hub for institutional adoption. KBW2026 will explore the forces shaping the next phase of digital finance, including market structure, stablecoins, tokenized assets, regulation and the growing intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence.
The conference will open Sept. 29 with the Upbit Institutional Summit, a private, invitation-only session co-hosted by Upbit and FactBlock. The main conference of KBW2026 with Upbit, will take place Sept. 30 through Oct. 1 at Walkerhill Hotels & Resorts.
Now entering its ninth year, KBW was founded and has been hosted by FactBlock since 2018. Last year’s main conference attracted 28,000 attendees over two days, including 35% from outside Korea, with more than 5,200 companies represented and over 400 side events held across Seoul.
Additional speakers and programming will be announced ahead of the event.
