3 Gaming Platforms Becoming Full Entertainment Ecosystems in 2026

The online gaming business is starting to look very different from the sportsbook websites of a decade ago.

Casino games, sports, esports, live streaming, cryptocurrency, loyalty programs and social features are increasingly being squeezed into the same account. Crypto is accelerating some of that shift: TRM Labs found that on-chain gambling volume reached $51 billion in 2025, with quarterly volume climbing from $2.6 billion in Q1 2021 to $14 billion in Q1 2026.

For players, that means comparing platforms has become about much more than finding a football market or scrolling through a catalogue of slots. The bigger question is how much of their entertainment can sit in one place.

Here are three platforms taking different approaches to that idea in 2026.

1. 1win: Building Around Gaming, Crypto and Social Entertainment

1win started as a betting platform in 2016, but its current product is considerably broader. Sportsbook, casino, live casino and esports now sit alongside proprietary games, social prediction features, crypto payments and a growing Web3 layer.

There is plenty of depth on the traditional gaming side, with more than 10,000 casino titles and thousands of daily sports and esports events. Where 1win becomes more interesting is in the products being built around them.

Betwave adds a social element to sports predictions, while the company operates its own esports organization and has been developing the 1win Token as another layer connecting rewards and activity across its ecosystem.

Crypto is also moving deeper into the account experience rather than simply sitting on a deposit page. In August, 1win introduced wallet-based registration, sign-in and deposits through Trust Wallet, MetaMask and WalletConnect. Users can access the platform through a wallet without going through the usual email-and-password flow.

Its loyalty offering follows a similar “more than bonuses” approach. The 20-level VIP program moves from weekly cashback into dedicated personal managers, 24/7 assistance, concierge services, closed tournaments, private travel and events at higher levels.

Best suited to: Users looking for an entertainment-focused platform combining casino, sports, esports and Web3 functionality under one account.

2. Stake: Crypto-Native Gaming at Scale

Stake is one of the most recognizable names at the intersection of cryptocurrency and online gaming. Its platform combines casino, live casino, sportsbook and esports with extensive support for digital assets.

Stake has also built many of its own gaming products through Stake Originals, giving it a recognizable casino offering beyond third-party slots and tables. On the sports side, its current platform covers football, basketball, tennis, cricket, horse racing, CS2 and other major categories.

Loyalty is another major part of the experience. Stake operates a large tiered VIP structure with weekly and monthly rewards, rakeback, reloads and level-up bonuses. Higher tiers introduce dedicated VIP hosts and more customized benefits. Stake’s current VIP program stretches from Bronze through multiple Platinum and Diamond levels.

Compared with 1win’s push into social predictions, travel and a broader entertainment identity, Stake remains more closely centered on the combination of crypto, casino and sportsbook. It is a focused formula, but one that has helped establish the brand among crypto-native gaming audiences.

Best suited to: Crypto users looking for a large casino and sportsbook with digital assets integrated into the experience.

3. BetMGM: Connecting Online Gaming With Real-World Entertainment

BetMGM takes the entertainment-platform idea in a different direction. Rather than building around crypto, it connects sportsbooks, online casinos and poker with MGM Resorts’ much larger world of hotels, restaurants, entertainment and physical casinos.

That connection is most visible through BetMGM Rewards. Users can earn rewards through eligible sportsbook, casino and poker activity, while tier credits can also feed into MGM Rewards. Points can ultimately be used across more than 20 MGM Resorts destinations for experiences including hotel stays, dining and entertainment.

It gives BetMGM something relatively unusual among online gaming platforms: a bridge between activity on a phone and experiences in the physical world. The company has continued leaning into that approach in 2026, including sports experiences and partnerships that combine BetMGM with MGM properties and Marriott Bonvoy.

The digital product itself remains broad. BetMGM combines sports betting with a sizeable online casino covering slots, live dealer games and table games. It has continued investing in casino expansion as well, including the 2026 launch of progressive SideBet Jackpots across more than 200 games.

Compared with 1win and Stake, BetMGM is much less centered on crypto. Its ecosystem instead stretches from digital gaming into resorts, hospitality and live entertainment, showing another way gaming platforms are trying to capture more of the customer’s leisure time.

Best suited to: Users in supported markets who want sportsbook and casino gaming connected to a wider rewards ecosystem spanning hotels, dining and entertainment.

Gaming Platforms Are Getting Bigger Than Gaming

These three platforms show how differently the industry is expanding.

Stake has built a large digital-first casino and sportsbook around crypto. BetMGM connects online gaming with hotels, dining, resorts and real-world entertainment. 1win is pushing toward another model altogether, combining casino and sports, social predictions, wallet-based access, VIP experiences and a growing Web3 layer.

For users, the comparison increasingly goes beyond odds or game count. Payment options, loyalty benefits, crypto support, live entertainment, esports and how easily different products fit together matters.

Gaming platforms increasingly want to own more than the bet itself. They want to become the place users watch, play, compete, socialize, earn rewards and spend their leisure time.

1win, Stake and BetMGM are approaching that goal from very different starting points. But all three point toward the same direction: the online gaming platform is becoming a much broader entertainment ecosystem.
