It was revealed a few weeks ago that more than 50 million users’ information had been wrongly acquired by a company called Cambridge Analytica and may have been used to influence the 2016 Presidential Elections in the US. Questions have also been raised about whether this data was used to influence the Brexit vote in the UK.
