BlockShow Europe 2018 is one of the most eagerly awaited crypto conferences of the year, with more than 3000 invitees from across the globe expected to attend the event. And now, just about a week before the event, the organizers have sent out a massive update on the schedule.

The Agenda and Lineup of Speakers

For this conference, the organizers have put together a who’s who list of speakers. Topmost on that list is Jimmy Wales, co-founder of Wikipedia and one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People. Jimmy, also known as Jimbo, has been a huge influence in the cryptocurrency industry since 2014, driving the adoption of cryptocurrencies since then by allowing donations to the Wikipedia Foundation to be made in Bitcoin.

Other speakers at the conference are Bobby Lee, the co-founder of BTCC and a board member of the Bitcoin Foundation, Johanna Maska, the Press Head of the White House Press Department during President Barack Obama’s term and currently CEO of Gobal Situation Room, Benny Giang, the co-founder of CryptoKitties as well as a product manager for Axiom Zen, and many more.

Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett addresses Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA) and her “Shadow Day” participants in the South Court Auditorium in the Eisenhower Exective Office Building, May, 29, 2014. Rep. Over and above experts from the industry, representatives and head of several countries’ central banks are expected to be attending the event.

The agenda for the conference also includes a number of panel discussions around topics that are relevant to what is happening in the cryptocurrency world today. These topics covers subjects from government initiatives in blockchain to using the technology for humanitarian causes.

The BlockShow App

A new networking app has been created for the BlockShow 2018 conference. This app has been designed especially for the conference attendees so that they can connect as well as network at the event. Users of this app will be able to filter other attendees based on their roles and areas of expertise, and organize business meetings accordingly.

BlockShow 2018 Oscar

The grand finale of the conference is the BlockShow Oscar, which is the event’s startup competition. Prior to this conference, the organizers held a meet-up tour from April to May this year across all the major European cities. The aim of this tour was to meet up with and assess promising new crypto startups to see which could make it to the finals of the BlockShow Oscar and compete for the grand prize of €50,000.

BlockShow 2018 has already released the list of finalists of the grand event: Altpocket, Coin Governance System, Dattaboot, Enecuum, Give Bytes, Neo Place, Shelf.Network and Seal Network.

This is the perfect platform to gain exposure to the most innovative new releases from crypto based companies.
