Trading Accounts and Conditions

Investzo does not explicitly tell us what types of trading accounts they have. All we could glean from their website is that the spreads for the EURUSD is about 2.1 pips and that the leverage ratios ranged between 1:500 and 1:1000.

There is no further information with regard to other trading conditions.

Investzo – Advantages

There are no advantages to trading with Investzo.

Investzo – Disadvantages

Here are all the reasons that tell us clearly that Investzo is a scammer and that dealing with them would be a bad idea:

  • Lack of Regulation

Investzo claims to be owned and operated by Investzo Limited, a securities dealer company that is registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and their registration number is 26598BC2022.

The broker also claims that they are regulated by the Canadian authority, the FINTRAC.

All of this information seems perfectly fine on the surface of it. However, here are all the red flags that these bits of information raise.

Firstly, the SVG FSA (SVG Financial Services Authority), the financial regulator of that country clearly states that they do regulate forex and binary options brokers. In fact, the first pop up that you get when you go to the SVG FSA’s website is this information.

Second, that registration number that Investzo has provided is fake. We checked the SVG FSA’s online register and there is no company or broker listed with that registration number.

And then there is the claim of regulation by the FINTRAC in Canada. Another lie. The FINTRAC – the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada – is actually the country’s financial intelligence unit. The official financial regulator of that country is the IIROC – the Investment Regulatory Organization of Canada.

Basically, everything this broker has claimed with regard to their regulation status is a lie. And we cannot even be certain that the name of the company is real.

Investzo is a scammer – unregulated and most probably anonymous.

  • Possible Serial Scammer

While checking their regulation status, we did a phone number and address check on Google. We found out that there are many other brokers – all of which have been proved to scammers – with exactly the same address and telephone number. Some examples of these scam brokers are: www.atmtrades.com, www.zixfx.com, www.tradesecuritiesfx.com, www.finantiatx.com, and many more.

This can mean only one thing: Investzo is actually a part of a serial scam operation.

  • Issues with Registration

Investzo has not provided any details about the kinds of trading accounts they offer, so we decided to register for an account to find out for ourselves. However, we decided not to take the registration process any further because of the kind of information this broker asks for.

You are asked to provide you passport details, your exact address, and other highly personal information.

We fed in some numbers and tried to continue with the registration process, but were unsuccessful. This is not because of our fake information, but because the entire page froze after we clicked on the submit button.

Our inability to actually register for an account is the first red flag and the kind of information this broker asks for is the other. This is just another indication that we are dealing with a scammer.

  • Issues with Trading Software

We also could not check this broker’s trading software. The download link was flagged off as containing possible malware, so we did not take a chance by trying to download it.

  • Issues with Trading Conditions

Since we were unable to access Investzo’s trading software, we will have to base our assessment of their trading conditions on the information the broker has presented on their website.

The minimum deposit amount of $20 is well below market averages, which is a plus. However, considering that the spreads offered by this broker are way above market standards (the average spreads range from 0.5 pips to 1.5 pips), trading with them would be extremely expensive.

Added to that, the leverage ratios offered by this broker are massively risky. Leverage is the risk level of a trade, so the higher the leverage, the higher the risk. A leverage of 1:1000, which is what Investzo offers, is risky in the extreme, and we would strongly advise all traders from using that kind of leverage.

We also do not know what the other trading conditions are. There is no information on the margin calls, order execution methods, fees, commissions, etc.

This lack of clarity on a broker’s trading conditions is just another indication that we are dealing with a scammer.

  • Issues with Payments

Besides the single piece of information about the broker’s minimum deposit requirement, Investzo isn’t very open about their payments. We know that there are three payment options – bank transfers, e-based payments and others. The broker does not specify which e-based payment options are available and we do not know what others means.

We also have no information about withdrawals. We do not know what this broker’s withdrawal policies are, or even whether they are charging withdrawal fees or not.

  • Targeting Thai Traders

There are only two language options on this broker’s website – English and Thai. Furthermore, Investzo specifically asks whether you are a Thai resident or not in their registration form.

This broker is targeting Thai traders. Unfortunately, Thailand is known for the large number of forex scammers, and this broker seems to be another one of them.

Conclusion

Investzo is not a broker that you can trust. They seem to be a part of a serial scamming operation and it would be best to avoid them.
