Beginner: The deposit amount to start an account of this type is £5,000. The leverage is 1:20.
Silver: The deposit amount to start an account of this type is £25,000. The leverage is 1:50.
Gold: The deposit amount to start an account of this type is £75,000. The leverage is 1:100. You are promised a minimum guaranteed monthly ROI (Return on Investment) of 9% and you get a bonus of 50%.
Premium: The deposit amount to start an account of this type is £150,000. You get a minimum guaranteed monthly ROI of 12% and you get a bonus of 75%.

For the Beginner and Silver accounts, the broker has mentioned guaranteed ROIs and Bonuses, but they have been crossed out on the table, so we do not know if the they apply to those account types or not. Additionally, when you check the broker’s Products page, they claim that they offer a maximum leverage of 1:400, and then 1:500, which are figures not mentioned on their Account Types page. Then, the broker claims of offer spreads of 0.2pips for certain forex pairs.

Unauthorized Broker Blacklisted by FCA

The first thing that tells us that a broker is a scammer is their regulation status. Being regulated by an appropriate financial authority means that a broker is legally allowed to offer their services to traders. Mondial Investments Ltd has no such authorization.

The broker claims that their parent company is Mondial Investments Ltd, which is registered with a Company Number 06858704. The broker provides us with a London, UK address in their Contact Us page, along with a UK phone number. However, there is also another phone number provided, and this one seems to have a Singapore country code (+65).

With a UK address, the broker is implying that they operate out of that country. And to do so, they need to be regulated by the FCA, the Financial Conduct Authority. But we checked the online register and found out that not only is this broker not authorized by the FCA, but that the authority has actually blacklisted this broker for operating illegally in their country. The fact that this broker is not authorized by any regulator and that one of the world’s top regulators has actually blacklisted them is more than enough evidence that Mondial Investments Ltd is a scammer.

Poor Terms and Conditions

Mondial Investments Ltd has a Terms and Conditions section. However, when you go through it, you will realize that it is short, generic and has no details that are required by law – the terms of service, the fees, the commissions, the policies and so on.

This broker has simply followed the letter of the law by adding on Terms and Conditions. However, the purpose of these legal documents is to clearly outline the relationship between the broker and the trader: all the terms that the broker has to offer their services and so on. Without these details, the legal documents are useless – as in Mondial Investments Ltd’s case.

Poor Trading Software

Mondial Investments Ltd claims to offer a world’s leading platform, but when we registered, we found out that the trading platform they actually offer is poorly designed web-based software with hardly any tools for trading.

Brokers offer their clients the best trading software since this is their main product offering, so when we see something like, we know that we are dealing with a scammer.

Issues with Trading Conditions

Along with the trading software, the trading conditions offered by a broker are critical to their business, which is why most brokers ensure that they have attractive trading conditions. Mondial Investments Ltd has trading conditions that are incomplete, vague and very unfair – just what you would expect from a scammer.

The minimum deposit is 5,000 GBP, which is unreasonably high. The industry standard is less than $200! And the spreads are not mentioned in the Account Type section. They are mentioned in the Products section and they are unrealistically low. Unless there are fees and commissions attached. But we do not know that since nothing is mentioned about these trading conditions.

The leverage is also contradictory, but let us say we go by the maximum that they offer: 1:500, then we can say this broker is out to scam you. In the UK, any leverage ratio above 1:30 is illegal.

Guaranteed ROI

Mondial Investments Ltd offer their clients a guaranteed ROI. If any broker makes this offer, we know instantly that they are out to scam traders. There is no broker that can make such a promise. The nature of the forex market is such that losses are greater than profits – and brokers are by law expected to mention the level of losses their clients suffer while speculating in the forex market. So any promise like this is only meant to lure unwary traders into parting with their money!

Payment Issues

As we mentioned in our overview at the beginning of this review, Mondial Investments Ltd only allows you to make deposits once you have contacted them. Once you register, someone from their office will get in touch with you and help you with your deposit! This is a scam!
