TradeOptionsCapital – Advantages

There are no advantages to trading with TradeOptionsCapital.

TradeOptionsCapital – Disadvantages

Here are all the reasons why we have labelled this broker a scammer:

  • Lack of Regulation

TradeOptionsCapital claims to be owned and operated by TradeOptionsCapital Ltd, an award-winning global company that is regulated by two of the top financial authorities in the world – the ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) and the VFSC (the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission).

It was a simple matter to check the online registers of both these regulators to see if this broker’s claims were, in fact, true. However, we found that there was no company (or brokerage) by this name listed with either the ASIC or the VFSC. This means that this broker has lied about being regulated.

Furthermore, since there is no other corporate information that this broker has provided (except for a phone number with no country code!), we can also safely say that we are dealing with an anonymous broker.

An anonymous and unregulated broker such as TradeOptionCapital is only one thing – a scammer. And trading with a scammer is dangerous as your chances of losing all your funds are extremely high.

The company was created as a combined effort of financial professionals and experts in web-commerce with the goal of perfecting the online experience for retail traders.

  • No Trading Software

The main offering of an online brokerage is their trading software. Therefore, brokers go out of their way to get only the best trading software possible for their customers. This is either the MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 trading platform. Both are developed by MetaQuotes and are the top two platforms in use for forex and crypto trading today.

Since TradeOptionCapital claimed on their website to offer a proprietary trading tool, so we created an account with this broker to find out what this tool was. What we saw convinced us that we were dealing with another shabby scammer: there was no trading platform and the client area simply presented a few basic charts with no trading functions at all.

  • No Legal Documents

Despite looking everywhere on their website, we could not find TradeOptionsCapital’s legal documents. Legal documents are critical, since they are the contract between the broker/company and the trader. These are the documents that will tell you what are the products and services (trading conditions and promotions) offered by the broker. They also tell you the terms of use as well as the cost of trading with them. The fees and commissions and other costs are also specified in these documents.

If you sign up without checking if these legal documents are in place, then you are giving the broker a free hand to do what they will with your money. And if you get scammed, then there is almost nothing that you will be able to do about getting your money back.

This is the reason why it is so important to go through the terms of service/legal documents before signing up with a new broker.

  • No Trading Accounts

TradeOptionsCapital does not offer their clients the traditional trading accounts. Instead, the broker offers their clients investment plans. And with these investment plans, this broker guarantees returns on your investment.

Any broker that guarantees returns in a scammer. The forex and cryptocurrency markets are so volatile that the majority of trades end up in losses – not wins. And it is because of this characteristic of these markets that regulated brokers are required to specify what percentage of their clients’ trades have ended up in failure. That number is extremely high; data shows that between 75% to 85% of all trades are fails.

Therefore, if your broker is promising you hefty returns, take it for granted that they are scamming you!

  • Contradictory Information

The fact that a lot of the information on this broker’s website is contradictory is another sign of their sloppiness and fraudulence. To give you a few examples:

  • You may have noticed that in the Account Types section of our review, we spelled an account as a Diamong This is because this is exactly how the broker spelled it on their website. This lack of attention to the small details is what separates a scammer from a legitimate broker.
  • The broker states that their minimum deposit is $500 (in the Account Types table). However, when you check their website, the broker claims that the minimum deposit is just $100. And then when you click on the payment section, you can actually deposit as little as $1.
  • The broker states that you can trade in multiple asset classes, and then later states that you only trade in cryptocurrencies.

There are more examples of this broker’s sloppiness, but we will stop here.

  • Cryptocurrency Only Payment Method

The only payment methods on offer are two crypto wallets (even though the broker claims to offer multiple payment methods). Crypto transactions are untraceable and permanent, which is why they are a favorite with scammers.

Conclusion

TradeOptionsCapital is a scammer and not to be trusted at all.
