Uniglobal Assets – Advantages

We could not find any advantages in trading with Uniglobal Assets.

Uniglobal Assets – Disadvantages

Given below are all the issues we have found that confirm that Uniglobal Assets is a scammer:

  • Lack of Regulation

We could not find any information about the company that runs this brokerage. Furthermore, there is also no information about the legal status of this broker. Thus, we do not know who runs this website, where they are based, and since there is no licensing information, we can say that they are not operating legally.

Uniglobal Assets is an anonymous and unregulated broker – a scammer.

Dealing with such an entity is dangerous. You do not know who has taken your funds, where they are located and if you do get scammed, you will not know how to get your funds back.

It is best to avoid such brokers and look for ones that are completely transparent about their corporate identity and their legal status. It is preferable to deal with brokers that are regulated by strong authorities such as the CySEC or the FCA. These regulators ensure that traders are protected from scammers such as Uniglobal Assets.

  • Poor Trading Platform

Legitimate brokers go out of their way to offer their clients the best possible trading software. And this usually means the MetaTrader 4 or 5 platforms. Both of these platforms are among the best in the world – they are user friendly, have a plethora of trading tools and have a massive marketplace where traders get to choose from thousands of third-party apps to improve their trades.

With Uniglobal Assets, all you get is a poorly designed WebTrader platform, one that offers barely any trading tools or advanced trading options. In fact, the most you can actually do on this platform is buy and sell assets.

  • Poor Trading Conditions

Uniglobal Assets’ trading conditions are appalling. First, the minimum deposit requirement: you are asked to make a minimum deposit of 10,000 Euros for the basic Bronze account. The industry average varies between $100 and $250, and there are many excellent brokers today that offer accounts for investments as little as $10. So, the deposit that this broker is asking for is just plain ridiculous.

Next, the cost of trading with this broker is much too high. For the Bronze account, you are looking at spreads that start from 2.8 pips. This is almost 3 times the market average, which is about 1 pip and frequently lower. So, this broker is expecting you to pay almost $30 per lot that you trade! A massive cost.

And then let’s look at the leverage ratios this broker offers. A maximum leverage of 1:400 is much too high. High leverages may give the broker a chance to get high returns, however, most of the time, data shows that trades end up in losses (75% to 85% of all trades are losses). This means that playing with high leverage is a huge risk. Your chances of losing all your funds are extremely high. This is the reason why many financial authorities have placed rigid limits on how much leverage can be offered. So, in the UK, Australia and the EU, leverages cannot exceed 1:30, Japan and Hong Kong allow only leverage of up to 1:20, and the US and Canada allow for a maximum leverage of 1:50, and so on.

Added to these high costs, you also are charged commissions, but the broker does not mention what they are.

Thus, even if this broker were regulated, we would still strongly discourage traders from doing business with Uniglobal Assets – because their trading conditions are so poor.

  • Issues with Payment Details

From their user area, we found out that Uniglobal Assets offers their clients two payment options: credit cards or crypto wallets. There are three different crypto addresses provided for 3 different crypto wallets. None of these crypto wallets are safe. It is wise to remember that all crypto transactions are untraceable and permanent, which means that if you deposit money using those crypto wallets, you will never know where you money has gone and neither will you be able to get your money back.

Interestingly, you are not allowed to withdraw your funds unless you first provide a reason for doing so! This is highly unusual – even for a scammer! Added to that, this broker states that all withdrawals will be processed within 30 days of a trader opening an account with them. So, the question is: what happens after 30 days? Will you not be allowed to withdraw your funds at all? These are some really strange withdrawal conditions – a first, even for us!

Based on these red flags, we would advise all traders to stay away from this broker.

Conclusion

Uniglobal Assets is a scammer that is out to get your money and you cannot trust them at all.
