C-Supemetrade – Disadvantages

Listed below are all the disadvantages that flag C-Supemetrade off as a scammer:

  • Lack of Regulation

The first sign of a broker’s scam is their lack of regulation. An online broker needs to be regulated by a relevant financial authority to be able to operate legally. This means getting a license from the financial regulator of the region that that broker is targeting.

Now, C-Supemetrade claims to be based in the UK (the broker provides us with a UK address), implying that they are regulated by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority. However, when we checked the FCA’s database, which is available on their website, we found out that this broker is not regulated by the UK regulator. In fact, this broker is not even listed as a legal entity in the UK.

Since C-Supemetrade has not even mentioned any other regulatory information, we can safely state that they are operating illegally without any proper authorization. And this makes this broker a scammer.

  • Blacklisted by FCA

Another thing that clearly highlights C-Supemetrade’s scam is the fact that the Financial Conduct Authority, which is one of the most stringent financial regulators in the world, has issued a warning to all brokers against dealing with this broker.

While we were checking for C-Supemetrade’s legitimacy, we found out that the FCA already had seen through this broker’s deception and had issued a warning, stating that this broker is operating without authorization in their jurisdiction (the UK) and that this broker is a scammer.

A clear warning such as this should not be ignored. This broker is a scammer and should be avoided.

  • Issues with Trading Platform

C-Supemetrade claims to offer their clients a world-class web-based trading platform. However, when we accessed what this broker had to really offer, we knew that these were just lies designed to attract more customers.

We found out that what this broker really offers in the guise of a trading platform is a basic software that has some charts that have been imported from TradingView, a market analysis website. There is no real functionality is this so-called trading platform. In fact, you can’t really do anything on C-Supemetrade’s trading platform.

When a broker compromises on their main product offering such as their trading platform, then you know that you are dealing with a scammer.

  • Issues with Trading Conditions

A broker offers their clients the use of their trading platform (their product) and also offers a set of trading conditions to use that trading platform. These trading conditions are as important as the software itself as this is what makes the broker competitive in the market.

A legitimate broker will ensure that all trading conditions are clearly spelled out so that traders know what to expect when they use that broker’s trading platform. If there is a lack of clarity in this information, then it is not possible for a trader to make an informed decision.

Therefore, when you see a broker that does not clearly state what their trading conditions are, you know you are dealing with a scammer.

With C-Supemetrade, this is the case. We are told the minimum initial deposit requirements, and we are told about leverage ratios. But no other information is provided. The cost of a trade (which is inferred from the spreads and commissions charged by the broker) is missing, the order execution methods are missing, and so on.

We also need to point out that the maximum leverage this broker offers is a huge red flag. Leverage in the UK cannot exceed 1:30 – by decree of the FCA. This has been done to prevent traders’ bankruptcy due to high levels of leverage. The 1:500 leverage C-Supemetrade offers is therefore not only dangerous, it is also illegal.

Thus, here is clear evidence that C-Supemetrade is a scammer.

  • Issues with Payment Method

Another serious red flag that tells us that we are dealing with a scammer is this broker’s single payment method. The only way that you can make payments is via cryptocurrencies.

First, legitimate brokers offer their clients a range of payment options so that they can choose the one that suits them the best. A single payment option is a red flag of poor customer service.

Second, cryptocurrencies are a dangerous payment option if you are dealing with an untrusted broker. This is because crypto payments are irreversible and anonymous. And this is why scammers opt for this payment option. Once they have your money, there will be no way to get it back.

Therefore, if you are dealing with a broker for the first time, it would be highly advisable to use a more traditional payment method such as credit cards. If you are scammed or want your money back, then you can file for a chargeback.

So, if you see a broker offering only a single payment option, and that option is cryptocurrencies, you can be sure that you are dealing with a scammer.

Conclusion

C-Supemetrade is not a safe; this broker is a scammer and if you trade with them, you will certainly lose your funds. It would be wise to find a strongly regulated broker instead.
